Absolutely a better alternative than the "better known" postage meter company. We are very happy we switched. BMI really offers small-town personal service, but with the professionalism and skill of a Fortune 500 company.

How long have you been in business?
Since 1974 we've been owned & operated by the same local family.
What is your primary product or service?
Automation by means of postage meters, mailing machines, folders/inserters, and addressing software to efficiently & economically process out-going mail for small & medium-size businesses.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Simply by being part of my family! I basically grew up in this company - running odd-jobs as a teenager, and then service & sales through college and beyond. After more than 25 years...I'm still at it.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Consistency. From the longevity of our management team (38-years), to the care we take in serving our clients. We have to be extremely customer-centered to compete against the bigger names in this industry.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Currently we serve the Greater Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina (GSO/HP/WS) from our corporate offices in Greensboro. We serve clients in Raleigh & Charlotte by our associates in satellite offices. We have always been able to handle larger regional & national accounts with our network of affiliates throughout the country. We're always looking to expand our products & services to offer to our clients.

What type of payments do you accept?
All kinds...we've even bartered services when a client was in a pinch. The benefits of being a small business is that we are always flexible!
Which areas do you service?
We cover the majority of North Carolina, parts of Southern Virginia, and coordinate Major Accounts that span the entire US. If we can't help you personally, we'll have one of our associate dealers in our network assist.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
The company is owned & operated by my family.
What are your hours of operation?
M-F 9-5
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
A referral of our company to friend or associate.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
"Smooth seas do not make for skilled sailors." Basically, another way of saying what James wrote so well, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." -James 1: 2-4
